I read the first Harry Potter book right after it was released in my country, and I have been a fan of Jo since that day. I've read the Harry Potter series more times than any other book, and I can truly say that Jo is my favourite author ever.
Her way of writing is absolutely incredible, and her imagination is even more impressive. I love the way she manages to grab you within the first page of a book, and keep you on your toes throughout it. But I also adore her. Even though she's one of the richest women in the world right now, she has her feet firmly planted on the ground, and that is something I truly admire. Watching and listening to interviews with her, reading transcripts and visiting her website has made me an even bigger fan. From her subtle ironic humour combined with and extraordinary skill in writing, to the fact that she's still just a person and gets nervous before big events... It makes her human, and it makes me look up to her more than any other author.
Because of this, you can imagine how thankful I was when Kacy (URL no longer in use, contact me if you want it updated on this site!) let me adopt this fanlisting. This was one of my most wanted fanlistings ever since I got into the community! I was squeeing with joy when I got the mail, and worked day and night on the website. To this day, this fanlisting is one of my most precious. Jo's books will always be there, they will entertain and grab new generations for a long time.
Timeline
The original fanlisting was opened by Kacy (URL no longer in use, contact me if you want it updated on this site!) on June 23rd 2003. She handed it over to me on April 11th 2005, and I reopened it on April 21st the same year.
